When assigning a
court date, the times will be staggered:
Citation written on
Monday/Tuesday will have a 1:00 arraignment time,
Wednesday/Thursday
will have a 1:30 arraignment time,
Friday will have a 2:00
arraignment time. Saturday will have a 2:30 arraignment time.
Sunday will have a 3:00
arraignment time.

to new direction provided by the Ohio Supreme Court, the Franklin County
Municipal Court is amending its previous direction for assigning court dates
for traffic citations and summons.
Effective immediately court dates for traffic
citations and summons will be 8
weeks from the date of issuance.

9 A.M. Courtroom 1A
Last
names beginning with L through Z:
9 A.M. Courtroom 1B
OVI Cases: 9 AM Courtroom #4C
Juvenile court cases held at 9 A.M. two weeks from date of cite.
ALS
hearing held five business days after citation issued.
The
cutoff for assigning the current court date is Wednesdays at 23:59, Thursdays
begin assigning the next court date.
